The degradable plastic, which is used to solve the white pollution problem of ecological environment has called wide and intensive attention these days. Degradable plastic is applied in protecting environment, more popularly.In this paper，the classification, mechanism of degradation and technology development of degradable plastic are introduced.The application in china is reviewed.
