This paper briefly describes the basic properties of the GaN based luminescent materials.The application and future prospect of GaN based devices is reviewed.The growth techniques of these materials are introduced selectively.In particular,we introduce Metal Organic Compound Chemical Vapour Deposition.

It is a new confronting subject to foster the sence of scientific beauty in the teaching process of science.This paper attempts to apply the basic theory that the essence of scientific beauty is a kind of harmonious relationship between the feelings and their forms,from the point of view on studies,to explore the formation of the sence of scientific beauty in the chemical studies and its functions in the creative studies.
