Abstract As a compulsory course for chemistry education, inorganic chemistry plays an important role in laying the theoretical foundation of chemistry for normal university students. On the premise of connecting senior high school chemistry knowledge, developing college inorganic chemistry teaching is helpful to build a complete chemistry knowledge teaching system, arouse the enthusiasm of normal college students, and complete the smooth transition from senior high school to college inorganic chemistry. Based on the authors’ teaching practice, teaching practice guidance and research, using version of senior high school chemistry and university chemistry with the contents of the textbooks published by the People’s Education Press and inorganic chemistry textbooks published by Beijing Normal University Press as the instance, this paper discusses the connection of knowledge points between senior high school chemistry and college inorganic chemistry textbooks. From the perspective of teaching and learning, this paper forms part of the accumulation of experience and teaching suggestions.It also provides reference for the inorganic chemistry course teaching under the background of teacher training professional certification.
