Abstract  Based on our online courses of inorganic chemistry, the blended teaching mode was firstly introduced into the learning of element chemistry with Chaoxing learning platform as the carrier. A new teaching strategy of “MOOC+cases intensive teaching+QQ group assistance” was designed. The low-level knowledge can be acquired by students from MOOC, while the learning of high-level knowledge was conducted by targeted live broadcast, group task, and PBL teaching methods. In addition, as a powerful auxiliary tool, QQ groups were used for online tutoring anytime. The classroom, the mobile terminal, and the management end were connected by Chaoxing learning platform, promoting the online and offline discussion and interaction between teachers and students, ultimately favored the pleasant and high efficient intelligent teaching and learning. The survey shows that the blended-learning mode based on “one platform and three terminals” was accepted by most of students.
