Abstract Combined with the curriculum standard, the relevant materials are deconstructed and integrated from the aspects of fertilizer composition classification, chemical production, mechanism of action, simple identification, environmental impact, etc. In teaching practice, we should follow the spiral path of knowledge advancement and perfect students’ cognitive structure and thinking paradigm. By means of scientific inquiry in life, students’ practical ability and innovative spirit are cultivated. Relying on the discussion of social science issues, improve students’ STSE accomplishment, so as to show the truth, goodness and beauty of chemistry in an all-round way.
