Abstract Taking the dissolution testing study of pravastatin sodium tablets as an example, this paper showed the general process and requirements of dissolution testing method development. Guiding the students to strengthen the understanding of dissolution testing of oral solid dosage forms and get some research ideas, so that they could be consistent with the development needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
