Abstract Taking the teaching of "solubility" as an example, this paper analyzed how to promote the development of students' cognition in the construction process of concepts. While teaching solubility,teachers should pay attention to students' pre-scientific knowledge, mined students' viewpoint and ideas, developed students' cognitive ways so as to cultivate students' ability of cognition.
