Abstract According to the bonding styles, organic reactions are classified into three types:free radical reactions, ionic reactions and synergy reactions, and most of the reactions discussed in fundamental organic chemistry belong to ionic reactions. If the charge distribution especially at the nucleophilic sites and the electrical sites in the reactants were appreciated, it would not only help students understand the mechanisms and memorize the reactions discussed in the textbook, but also help to deduce the reactions not discussed before.
