This paper introduced a comprehensive experiment of physical chemistry and analytical chemistry:study on the adsorption of Cu²⁺ in water by bio-adsorbent. This experiment prepared biomass adsorbent which were analyzed by infrared spectrometer. The effect of pH,time and temperature on the adsorption of of Cu²⁺ was investigated, and absorption mechanism was studied. This experiment involved the surface adsorption principle of physical chemistry, the application of analysis methods of analytical chemistry, the use of large-scale instruments and some of data processing method, which could not only exercise the students' practical operating ability, but also improve the students' ability to analyze the experimental data.
