Abstract  This paper analyzed the educational functions of the experiment of combustion conditions in junior high school chemistry from scientific method, scientific knowledge, students' cognition transformation, and then analyzed "combustion conditions" experiment in textbook from the aspects of contrast experiments as well as epistemic logic, and finally put forward the improvement opinions and teaching suggestions.
