“Chemical Biology” Pre-Class Survey and Thinking on Teaching

Abstract  In 2015, "chemical biology" course was first introduced to Central China Normal University, the author carried out the pre-class survey and statistical analysis against the undergraduate students of grade 2013 majored in applied chemistry and chemical biology. Survey results showed that students had poor understanding of the curriculum, deficient learning motivation, and the methods of evaluation were not scientific, and so on. Afterwards, some improvable teaching methods and innovative teaching concepts were conducted based on the teaching practice and experience, which obtained promising teaching effect for this "chemical biology" course.
