Abstract  In view of the phenomenon of "it was difficult for teachers to teach and students to learn" appeared in major universities, this paper compared the knowledge points of "hydrocarbon oxygenated derivatives" in Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry in senior high school and Organic Chemistry in university from the view of cohesion teaching, analyzed the present implementation situation of the new curriculum of organic chemistry through questionnaire survey, and put forward some suggestions from perspectives of teaching goals, textbooks content, teaching and learning methods, and awareness and implementation of cohesion teaching and so on.
