Abstract Taking the National College Entrance Examination PaperⅠas an example, this paper analyzed the characteristics of questions about chemistry and traditional culture from three angles:examination mode, examination channel and questions setting idea; analyzed the requirements for students' ability and accomplishment from the perspectives of classical Chinese, philology, the ability to extract information, ancient chemistry characteristics and substance names; prepared test questions from substance properties, basic operations and comprehensive applications, and illustrated the thought of review and preparing for the examination.
