Abstract  Sulfur is a necessary constant elements for life, and the imbalance of sulfur cycle will cause ecological damage. In this paper, the concept of sulfur cycle, desulfurization bacteria and the mechanism of biological desulfurization were introduced. The action modes of desulfurization bacteria and different ways of desulfurization were also discussed.
