Abstract  The professional development of teachers has to go through different stages. The characteristics of classroom behavior of expert teachers have implications for the professional development of teachers. Through the comparison and analysis of the type and time of the 10 normal teaching behaviors of the expert chemistry teachers, the same characteristics and differences of the teaching behaviors of the expert teachers under the theme of the concept principle and the elemental compound theme are summarized.
