Abstract  Aiming at the problems and shortcomings in the current chemistry experiment teaching, we proposed an optimization program for the university chemistry experiment teaching from the perspective of a chemistry undergraduate student. The proposed program includes the use of the network platform in the whole process, the standardization and rigorization to the operation process, the tabulation of the preview report and the experimental report, as well as the expansion of the relative knowledge and background before the experiment and re-intensification after the experiment. It is expected that the paper will provide a useful reference for the improvement of the university chemistry experiment teaching.
