Abstract  The application of mind map in the course of food physical and chemical testing technology was analyzed, with examples from the classification of food detection methods, detection process, selection of detection standards, sample processing,macro nutrient content detection, micro nutrient analysis, etc. The 13 application examples of mind mapping and learning evaluation practice show that: applying mind map in the teaching of food physical and chemical testing can help learners to quickly and accurately master the learning tasks related to food physical and chemical testing, familiar with the detection skills of various substances, and complete the detection task.
