Abstract Based on the model of disciplinary competence in chemistry, this paper determines the index of disciplinary competence assessment in chemistry, and on this basis, analyzes the disciplinary competence requirements of the chemistry questions in Jiangsu Province college entrance examination from 2008 to 2020. The test characteristics and change trend of chemistry disciplinary competence in Jiangsu paper are obtained, and relevant teaching suggestions are put forward.
