Abstract Nankai University is one of the earliest universities in China to establish the discipline of chemical biology and carry out talent cultivation in chemical biology on both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The College of Chemistry, Nankai University began to recruit undergraduates majoring in chemical biology in 2012, and has trained 98 graduates so far. We have accumulated experience in the talent cultivation and achieved fruitful results. This article introduces the general information, curriculum setting, training characteristics and objectives, and educational effect of bachelor degree program in chemical biology in College of Chemistry, Nankai University.
