Abstract This article combines the characteristics of the subject of structural chemistry and students' understanding of the subject, and explores the use of mind map methods to assist the teaching process of structural chemistry. Applying mind maps to the teaching of structural chemistry helps students form a logically rigorous and organically unified knowledge structure system of quantum theory, and the application of mind mapp in the learning process can be analyzed through systematic questionnaires.
