Abstract Since the outbreak of COVID-19, how to identify the infection accurately and quickly is the key for prevention and control. Herein the authors systematically introduce various technologies that have been used in the clinical detection of 2019-nCoV, and also precisely explain the involved biochemical principles. This article will help the public to understand the procedure of 2019-nCoV detection, which is important to cooperate with medical workers and to enhance the confidence in defeating COVID-19.
