Abstract  The study described the college students' note-taking behavior in chemistry class from five aspects: note-taking content, note-taking location, note-taking format, note-taking detail level and note-taking coding level. The study analyzed the college students' note-taking behavior characteristics in chemistry class, and compared note-taking behavior with different academic levels, and put forward teaching suggestions for improving college students' note-taking behavior.
