Abstract It is the requirement of the development of educational examination in the new era that the detailed list of exam questions changes from bidirectional to multi-dimensional. The formulation of multi-dimensional itemization table is beneficial to realize the integrity and balance of test paper design. The construction of multidimensional itemization table mainly includes five steps: clarifying testing level requirements, delimiting test scope, collecting material, design and presentation of test questions, summary and adjustment. The multidimensional itemization table has the functions of guiding the setting and examination of examination papers, guiding the analysis and teaching of examination papers, and promoting the development and improvement of teachers' professional ability.
