Show Abstract ( 9 )
The learning trajectory is the trace of students' learning process under the influence of specific teaching activities, which is beneficial for teachers to grasp the students' learning process and to achieve student-centered teaching. In this paper, based on related literatures, learning trajectory is defined as the total state of students' cognitive, emotional, motivation in key events caused by teaching, and then extract three features of the learning trajectory, namely specificity, sequence, and structure; afterwards, research areas such as exploring learning trajectories, teaching and evaluation, and teacher professional development are introduced. The research value of learning trajectory is discussed from two aspects of teaching design and practice, which provides some references for chemical education researchers to understand the value of this field.

Show Abstract ( 12 )
It is the requirement of the development of educational examination in the new era that the detailed list of exam questions changes from bidirectional to multi-dimensional. The formulation of multi-dimensional itemization table is beneficial to realize the integrity and balance of test paper design. The construction of multidimensional itemization table mainly includes five steps: clarifying testing level requirements, delimiting test scope, collecting material, design and presentation of test questions, summary and adjustment. The multidimensional itemization table has the functions of guiding the setting and examination of examination papers, guiding the analysis and teaching of examination papers, and promoting the development and improvement of teachers' professional ability.

This class takes “uncovering the complexes in human life and health” as the project research theme, guiding students to master the coordination bonds and the existence and structure of complexes in human body. And designes a total of five sub-tasks: “Investigate the existence of complexes in human body” “explore the concept of coordination bonds” “clarify the structural characteristics of complexes” “understand the application of complexes” and “explain the principle of carbon monoxide poisoning”. The content is divided into two parts. The first part takes the coordination bond in human hemoglobin as the context to understand the existence of the complex; the second part sets three steps to sublimate the cognition of the complex from the perspective of structure, from the macro identification to the micro structure analysis, so as to improve students' cognition level and discipline accomplishment of the complex, and implement the integration requirements of teaching, learning and evaluation.

Taking “plant iron supplement” as a micro-project, this paper carried out a comprehensive review of the optional compulsory module “material structure and properties”. The micro-project learning during the two classes included three core links: determining the composition of plant iron supplements, studying the preservation and use of iron supplements, and improving the structure and properties of iron supplements. Based on the experimental evidence and literature, the changes of structure and properties of ferrous sulfate crystals in the process of dissolving in water were studied, and the models of chemical reaction analysis at the macro level and material structure analysis at the micro level were established. Finally, the model was applied to regulate the properties and improve the structure of plant iron supplements, deeply realizing the value of material structure research, and developing scientific spirit and innovation ability.

Teachers can reduce the difficulty of learning abstract knowledge and improve students' visual literacy by using appropriate classroom visual representations. According to the existing literature, the visual representation scale of chemistry class was constructed to analyze the characteristics of teachers' visual representation in chemistry class. On this basis, this study uses the grounded theory to summarize the utility features of visual representation content in the form of open coding so that learners can more effectively interpret the contents of visual representations. In this process, some problems existing in current classroom teaching are also found.

It takes “knowing ethyl cinnamate” as a real situation to carry out thematic review, and guides students to analyze the relevant maps as well as scientific research results, infer and solve the real comprehensive problems through three links: “structure inquiry, property inquiry, and synthesis inquiry”. As a result, it can build the cognitive model of organic structure determination, relationship between property and structure, and reverse synthesis, then further form the core concept of chemistry.

Taking senior one student as the research object, this paper studies the effects of using true or false sample learning and improving the variability of true or false sample learning on students' test scores and cognitive load. The results show that the total test score of the high-variation true-error sample group is significantly higher than that of the correct sample group. In the near transfer test, learning with true or false samples and increasing the variability of true or false samples have no effect on test scores. In the remote migration test, the test scores of the high-variance true-error sample group are significantly improved; Compared with correct sample learning, true-error sample learning can effectively reduce learning cognitive load. It is recommended to use high variability examples in teaching chemical symbol skills, which can effectively improve students' test scores; Actively use examples of correct and incorrect learning to reduce cognitive load on students.

The effectiveness and principles of stainless steel soap, a soap made from 304 stainless steel, are controversial. An interdisciplinary integration experiment was designed, including 3 main parts: the effect test of stainless steel soap, the principle inquiry and the innovative homemade. Experimental results show that stainless steel soap can not remove bacteria, but can remove odors; its principle is the physical adsorption effect, rather than through the generation of Fe2+ or Fe3+ reaction with odor molecules; it can be made by physically polishing or chemically etching the surface of stainless steel, adding active ingredients and other methods. The experiments are based on real problems in life situations and integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and methods from chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, and general technology to develop students' interdisciplinary problem-solving skills.

Show Abstract ( 15 )
The preparation and properties of ethyl acetate are important experimental activities in high school chemistry. Ethyl acetate is easily hydrolyzed under alkaline conditions, but its preparation is collected with an alkaline Na2CO3 solution, which easily causes confusion among students. Based on the Arduino platform, this paper designed digital experiments with simultaneous detection of multiple sensors to quantitatively compare the differences in the reactions of ethyl acetate with Na2CO3 and NaOH solutions, respectively, from multiple perspectives, and to explore the effects of temperature, concentration and stirring on the reactions, aiming to help teachers and students to deeply understand the differences in the interactions of ethyl acetate with Na2CO3 and NaOH. It was found that although it was spontaneous in chemical thermodynamics, there was almost no hydrolysis of ethyl acetate with saturated Na2CO3 solution at room temperature even stirring conditions, but it could occur at unsaturated Na2CO3 or higher reaction temperature, and it reacted strongly with NaOH solution no matter under what experimental conditions. Thus, based on digital experiments, sufficient evidence and reasons were provided for the use of saturated Na2CO3 solution at room temperature to collect ethyl acetate.

Developing elementary students' informed views of nature of science(NOS)is the major goal of international science education. Elementary students have their cognitive development stage, teachers should design NOS teaching that meets the cognitive development level of primary school students based on their cognitive development stages. Appropriate instruction can develop elementary students' views of NOS, but it is hard for elementary students to hold an informed view. The future research should focus on young children's cognitive development levels, and combine explicit-reflective teaching methods with de-contextualized and contextualized activities to explore more effective NOS teaching strategies for elementary students at different cognitive development stages.

The concept of catalysis began spreading widely via primary and middle schools chemistry textbooks during the period of Republic of China(ROC). At the early school system Renzi, catalysis was taught from the chapters of oxygen, sulfuric acid of the textbook of science Li Ke in the senior primary school. Then further education of catalysis is made in middle school. 10 years later, when even newer school system Renxu conducted, catalysis could be hardly seen in primary school but in the Junior and Senior middle schools. Chemistry belongs to Ziran or Mixed Li Ke in this period. Catalysis also became to emerge in the new content of ammonia. In senior middle school, catalysis was usually introduced separately which stands for the meaning of senior.
