Abstract  In view of the shortcomings of the demonstration experiment of copper with concentrated and dilute nitric acid in the textbook, such as the reaction is too intense and uncontrollable, the phenomenon of back absorption, the slow reaction and the escape of toxic gases, the main body additional combination method is used to design the separation funnel with branch pipes and glass leakage grooves, the borosilicate round bottom flask with branch pipes and other instruments to combine into a new demonstration device, and achieve effects such as the simplification of instruments, the simplification of operation, the visualization of phenomena, the environmental protection of the process and artistic experience, and effectively achieve the experimental teaching guidance of “promoting the development of literacy through experimental innovation”.
