Abstract The“Supramolecular Coordination Chemistry”is an original graduate elective course offered by the Institute of Supramolecular Coordination Chemistry at Jinan University.It successfully integrates the institute’s research platform into teaching through a“multidimensional collective teaching”approach.Important teaching content includes scientific research paradigms,interdisciplinary frontiers,and research skills training.The course has undergone numerous explorations and attempts in terms of teaching organization,content,and methods,considering the students’ learning situations and the current status of graduate education.With a focus on meeting the demands of high-level talent cultivation in the country,“Supramolecular Coordination Chemistry”has successfully transformed the research platform into effective teaching resources,significantly enhancing the overall teaching quality.It has strengthened the cultivation of students’ innovative and practical abilities.These teaching practices have provided valuable experiences and foundations for the creation of a“first-class”graduate course.
