Abstract By using available household chemicals and comparing droplet adhesion to a coin, mechanisms of inter-molecular forces and its influencing factors are visualized through dynamic phenomena. With eco-friendly materials and observable results, the micro-experiments enable student-led exploration. By integrating theoretical knowledge with everyday materials, such experiments not only cultivate the core chemical literacy of “macroscopic identification and microscopic analysis”, but also highlight the essence of the chemistry discipline in experimental teaching.
