Abstract This paper systematically expounds the formation mechanism and applications of the coffee ring effect by integrating the knowledge of intermolecular forces and surface chemistry, and further explores the chemistry education resources contained within it. It aims to help students perceive the chemical charm of microscopic forces shaping the macroscopic world, extend the reach of cutting-edge technology to a wider group of people, and turn this ordinary phenomenon into a source of motivation for scientific cognition and technological innovation.
