Abstract Cancer is one of the serious diseases that threatens human health. Recently, great progress has been made in the research of anticancer medicines. A review is given here, it covers the targer-towards medicine, the medicine picked-up from natural plants or marine animals, genetic engineering medicines, medicines of nanoparticles and the relationship between cancer and traceelements.
