Abstract  When ATDE teaching model is used in university chemical experimental course teaching,it not only facilitates the cultivation of students'autonomous learning and creative thinking ability,but also combines their interest with the learning of knowledge.Ideal teaching and educating effects can be achieved through the asking,thinking,doing and evaluation process of ATDE teaching model.The main contents of the ATDE teaching model and its merits com-pared with traditional teaching model are briefly introduced in this paper.Then some specific uti-lized strategies on how to apply ATDE teaching model in university chemical experimental course teaching are putted forward.
