Abstract Combined with teaching practice, reform of teaching contents and teaching material system of organic synthesis was researched through methods of system analysis, comparison, deduction and induction. Structural system of organic compounds including basic skeleton of molecular, functional groups and transformation of stereo configurations was established. This teaching mode cleared the basic task of organic synthesis, inspired the students' learning enthusiasm and improved the teaching effect via long-term teaching practice.
