Abstract  This article proposed a new approach to solve the changes of Gibbs free energy, enthalpy and entropy in chemical reaction based on number axis. The signs of ΔH, T1ΔS, T2ΔS (positive or negative) could be judged by marking their values or relative positions on number axis directly, so that the spontaneity of reaction could also be confirmed. This method is easier to be understood and grasped by the students because it is much intuitional, convenient and efficient.
