Abstract  This article expounded the meaning, development, characteristics, pattern of flipped classroom and teaching cases of flipped classroom at home and abroad; discussed the teaching reform of chemistry didactics including teaching contents, teaching structure, roles of teachers and students, teaching evaluation and technological platform based on flipped classroom; analyzed implementation of chemistry didactics based on flipped classroom with an example of teaching design of "presenting a teaching plan".
