Abstract CAO Yuan-Yu,chemical historian, chemical educator, artist and poet, from the study of chemical knowledge in Chinese ancient literature of Collected Taoist Scripture, published the Apparatus, Preparations and Methods of Ancient Chinese Alchemists, created a precedent in the study of Chinese alchemy, published China Chemical Myth, made important contributions to study and education of chemical history in China.
