Abstract The key points of MOOC construction are put forward. The research on the teaching design and application of before class, in class and after class in online and offline blended teaching of analytical chemistry has been carried out. A scientific and reasonable teaching comprehensive evaluation method is established. The reform and practical experience of analytical chemistry blended teaching for ability training is summarized. The problems encountered in blended teaching are objectively analysed and the effective solutions are presented. Practice has proved that the online and offline blended teaching can improve the teaching effect and effectively cultivate students’ ability to analyze and solve problems.
