Abstract  According to the characteristics of innovative experimental class, some creative activities such as speech before class, thematic discussions in class and study after class were carried out in the teaching of college chemistry regarding students as the main body and teachers as the leading. This paper explored the effective ways to enlighten students' creative ideas, cultivate students' innovative literacy and enhance the students' innovative capability.
