Abstract Borax bead experiment is a very important experiment of boron element and its compounds. The experiment is hard to get a satisfying result using traditional nickel wire carrier and different textbooks have different descriptions on borax bead's color. This article made detailed research on various aspects such as the carrier's selection, dosage,ratio, temperature, mechanism and common metal salt borax beads' colors.
