Abstract  This paper focused on organic compounds, constructed composition model of chemistry discipline core literacy and performance expectations, revealed the development of chemistry discipline core literacy, and constructed learning quality level. Then this study developed assessment tool based on Rasch model, explored the performance of learning quality and chemistry discipline core literacy in organic compounds under the current curriculum and teaching. It contributed to the organic compounds instruction of improving chemistry discipline core literacy.
