Abstract Combined with the characteristics and teaching status of alkanes, the teaching design was carried out by enriching situational materials and innovating experimental design. In the actual teaching, it stimulates students' interest in learning, enriches perceptual cognition, improves the construction of understanding, and develops the core literacy of students' macro identification and micro analysis, evidence reasoning and model cognition, scientific inquiry and innovation consciousness.
