Abstract The inorganic chemistry course of Jilin University has good historical heritage and accumulation. Facing the new development and changes in teaching and learning caused by Internet plus and focusing on the comprehensive cultivation of the knowledge, ability and quality of the students, with the support of information technology, the teaching team integrates ideological and political elements and high-level thinking into teaching practice, and establishes a “three modernization, three integration and three levels” online and offline blended teaching mode:three modernization referring to the gradation of teaching contents, diversification of teaching resources and multi-dimension of evaluation system; three integrations referring to the integration of theoretical courses and experimental courses, the integration of professional knowledge and ideological and political elements, and the integration of various teaching methods; three levels referring to pre-class, in-class and after-class three steps of progressive teaching process. It can meet the needs of students’ personalized learning, improve students’ initiative in learning, increase the interaction between teachers and students, and improve students’ critical thinking and innovation consciousness.
