Abstract Combined with the current situation of ideological and political teaching, how the organic chemistry course carry out ideological and political education practice is analyzed, the creation process of the ideological and political teaching goal is explained, the ideological and political education element cases are enumerated, the four measures for ideological and political teaching of the organic chemistry course are discussed, and preliminary evaluation of the ideological and political teaching effect is conducted.
