Abstract With the progress of science and technology and industry promotion, people continue pursuing beauty from its origins, maintaining it from its longevity and triggering it from its mechanisms. Numerous peptides, which have been demonstrated to have unique biological promoting or inhibiting effects in the human body, are also widely applied in cosmetics as a result. This paper analyzed the chemical structures of bioactive peptides in cosmetic, and described their physiological actions mechanisms by focusing on their different effects.
