Teaching Reform of Membrane Science and Technology Under the Goal of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization

Abstract Under the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutralization, our country has put forward higher requirements for separation membranes and membrane processes with high-performance. Thus, there is an urgent need to cultivate diversified and innovative talents that meet the “new engineering construction”. In response to the country’s demand for the cultivation of innovative and practical compound talents in the field of membrane technology, we explored the teaching reform for the undergraduate course of “membrane science and technology”, forming an integrated teaching pattern of “teaching, learning, and research” and a teaching method of “elaboration, enlightenment and exploration, combining online and offline”. The teaching content closely follows the technological frontier of membrane technology, and looks forward to future development trends and application requirements. This teaching reform can not only exercise students’ independent learning ability and innovation ability, but also allow students to form the thinking habit of paying active attention on the advanced technical achievement.
