Abstract This paper briefly introduces the idea, implementation scheme and curriculum objectives of constructing the ideological and political education system of inorganic chemistry based on OBE theory. It focuses on the teaching cases of the organic integration of ideological and political materials and professional knowledge in the bridge-in and participatory learning. Teaching practice shows that integrating knowledge transfer, ability improvement and value guidance into a unified development in teaching can promote students’ discussion, reflection and experience, and then promote students to understand and identify with the value objectives of the curriculum and internalize them into their own value consciousness and practical action.
