Abstract Scientists have synthesized a variety of DNA nano self-assembled structures by virtue of the good biocompatibility and programmability of DNA molecules, which have shown great application potential in the fields of molecular detection, biological imaging and drug delivery. Obviously, it is the right time to conduct DNA nanotechnology teaching exploration and experimental techniques training in undergraduate experiments. In this paper, DNA nanotechnology was combined with PCR, UV-vis spectrophotometer, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and gel imaging analysis. The experiment teaching can help students understand the basic of synthesis and detection method of DNA branched structures. To feedback experiment teaching by research achievements not only enrich the depth and breadth of the experiment teaching, but also broaden the students' scientific research field of vision, cultivate students' innovative thinking and improve the students' scientific research ability, which is of great significance to cultivate inter-disciplinary talent.
