Abstract The ancient gold artifacts shine brightly,and gold extraction process and component identification contain rich chemical knowledge and teaching cases.This article introduces the extraction process of ancient gold,the composition analysis and corrosion resistance of gold artifacts,as well as the causes of the unique colors of copper group elements.The aim is to explore the chemical secrets contained in ancient gold artifacts,highlight the cultural charm of gold artifacts,and demonstrate their chemical teaching value.
