Abstract Based on the differentiated two-level teaching objectives between higher and lower levels, two-line teaching organization between online and offline, teaching content that integrates theory and practice, teaching environment where tradition and wisdom coexist, curriculum ideology that is consistent with cognition and action, and teaching evaluation that combines termination and process, a dual chain cross interactive teaching mode is constructed. Taking protein molecular structure as an example, in teaching practice, based on the dual-chain teaching mode and centered around the main teaching theme of “molecular structure”, teachers use differentiated teaching objectives to free up classroom time, and use case teaching, project teaching, and problem teaching methods to carry out deep interactive teaching activities, significantly improving the achievement of course objectives. The dual-chain teaching mode further enhances the innovative mode and gender equality of the curriculum, providing reference and ideas for curriculum reform.
