Abstract Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),with their unique structures and physicochemical properties, exhibit broad application prospects in numerous fields such as gas storage, separation, and catalysis. As an important method for synthesizing MOFs,the fundamental principle of the precipitation method lies in the theory of precipitation-dissolution equilibrium in inorganic chemistry.Taking MOFs,a frontier material,as an example, this paper aims to deeply explore the generation process of MOFs under specific precipitation conditions and emphasizes the analysis of how to achieve structural regulation of MOF materials using knowledge of precipitation-dissolution equilibrium. This paper aims to integrate frontier scientific research into basic inorganic chemistry teaching, explore new paths for the integration of science and education, and provide beneficial reference and practical guidance for improving the quality of chemistry teaching in China as well as cultivating chemical talents with innovative abilities.
