Abstract Combing the chemical battery from the birth of the tortuous course of development,divided into four stages.Theoretical foundation stage,from the voltaic stack to the development of Daniel battery,established the chemical battery redox reaction generator theory;Chemical battery practical stage,dry cell,secondary battery and other technologies to open the battery practical process;Chemical battery green stage,environmental awareness of lithium-ion batteries,fuel cells,the rapid development of technology;Into the new era,the variety of batteries increased,high energy density and green is still the main goal of battery development.The development of chemical batteries is a long way to go,along with the continuous innovation of key technologies,chemical batteries will play an increasingly important role in modern society.
