Abstract Paracetamol,a common household antipyretic and analgesic,has undergone a century of exploration from its initial discovery to widespread use.It is not only a shining gem in the history of modern medicine but also a powerful tool in the fight against diseases,providing valuable insights for future drug development and production.This article comprehensively discusses paracetamol from four aspects:its development history,industrial production methods,cutting-edge research progress,and usage precautions.The aim is to enhance public awareness of safe medication practices at home and to promote in-depth research into the mechanisms of paracetamol,as well as its green and sustainable industrial production.
